The Eames House, a landmark of mid-20th century modern architecture, became an important reference.

The original property is rather typical of 1970’s housing stock in the local area in that its appearance was rather tired but was fundamentally in good working order. The intention of the project was to provide extensions front and rear, improve its thermal performance and carry out a sensitive refurbishment that retained the properties original integrity. We also introduced design references of key mid 20thC design to both complement the house and provide a visual link to our client’s furniture and art collection.
