Hub8 Brewery Quarter
Hub8 BQ is the first co-working space in Cheltenham to provide workspace dedicated towards the burgeoning cyber / tech community in the town. Major tech giants operate locally due to the proximity with GCHQ, which is the governments communications headquarters. The philosophy behind Hub8 was to provide a space where these large organisations could work closely with small tech companies, local educational facilities and students to provide a catalyst for growth in the town.
Edge were appointed to provided interior architecture services to convert the vacant 7000 sq. ft Cat B space into a dynamic and flexible workplace.
As funding was extremely limited we worked closely with our sister company Remote Possibilities who constructed the cubic meeting rooms, privacy screens and phone booths, all of which were arranged to create dynamic zones for working and meeting.
