Our client purchased the property due to its elevated position and valley views. The original design brief was to assess the viability of a replacement dwelling but in developing the concept proposals it became clear that much of the original dwelling could be retained. We simply removed the roof, added a cantilevered first floor extension orientated down the valley and refurbished the property to provide a cohesive design philosophy.

We carefully developed a scheme that retains the footprint of the existing dwelling.
