60 of the original Futuro Houses survive today, with only a single example residing in the UK.
Our sister company Remote Possibilities was commissioned to restore and recommission the Futuro House and return it to its former glory.
Landing 1 – Matt’s Gallery
Now fully restored the Futuro House took it’s first residency at Matt’s Gallery where it was presented as an events space.
Landing 2 – Central St. Martins
The logistics and technical measures required in order to place the Futuro House onto the roof of the roof of the college in central London was handled by Edge Design Workshop.
Landing 3 – Le Havre
In 2018 the Futuro House spent the summer in Le Havre, France atop a hill overlooking the city and sea as part of Un Été au Havre
Landing 4 – Marston Park
The Futuro landed at Marston Park initially for summer 2021 but, having been reviewed glowingly by the likes of Wallpaper, The Telegraph, Designboom, Elle Decor, Time Out, and Living Etc. The opportunity to stay in this piece of iconic 1960’s architecture has been extended throughout 2022.
