Daniel joined the team at EDW last week and completed an assignment we set him to further develop one of our previous projects. The Studios are a speculative development aimed at providing startup space for new businesses using refurbished redundant garages. The project was awarded a Civic Award as a result of its positive contribution to the built environment.
We asked Daniel to create a concept to develop the outside space and to also create some mockups and designs for a new business moving into the space.
“I was given a concept project to work on and this served as a really good format in order for me to be taught various ways of working as well as the different software which can be used.”
“It was a good experience in terms of giving me a comprehensive understanding of the architectural design process and what it would be like to be an Architect. This work experience placement has confirmed my ambition to pursue a career in Architecture.”
